I owned several subs in the past and after multiple test this Polk sub 4000 is simple the best if you have a medium size room. I have mine in a 20 x 20 room and it fills it with very smooth, tight and not boomy bass. I hear and feel now low frequencies that I was not aware they exist. This is a very powerful sub but if you calibrate it properly you will get a fantastic clean sound. I tried the Micro2000 before in the same room and it didn't work very well. Just too small. The mic works very well based on your sitting location. This sub also balance very well with the Polk LSI series.
