Purchased this item at a local store, cheap price, so wasn't expecting anything exciting, just needed something for a small guest bedroom. Kind of lame that the speaker wires don't even have pins to plug into audio in/out on back of unit. Has just bare wire connections to speakers, and wires are quite short. However, the sound was acceptable for a cheap unit. But then, after 11 months, the cd player stopped working. Still under warranty, but Coby wants $12 to ship it to them. Not even worth the hassle for a $40 unit, plus labor warranty is only 90 days.
