I had a tiny center channel speaker before I bought this and had an issue with my movie dialog sounding like they were talking in a cave (bad echo), i bought this speaker to fix that and was blown away by the difference it made it shakes my house when i play transformers on blue ray and looks fantastic. Some people may be turned off by the size its pretty big but i wanted to best sound i could get and this speaker doesnt dissappoint.
