The cable between the interface and the Sirius receiver does NOT have anything retaining it, and I did use the elecricians tape wrap as a fix for that problem. However the main beef I have is that while I have good radio, there is no good communication with the unit to the cars display. I have an Avalon, and while this may work well on other Toyota's (only a guess by me, of course), it won't even give me the channel number to which I am tuned. No information.. Nada.
